Mentor/Mentee Session

*Registration is required for this free event.

Attending the Mentor/Mentee Session is the perfect way to kick off your NADS 8 experience. Take advantage of this opportunity to meet fellow attendees while building lasting professional connections.

Join us Monday, August 26 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Wellington Ballroom in the Fairmont hotel. The Mentor/Mentee Session is the first event of the week. Ensure your travel plans allow time for your participation.

Participants will be split into small groups based on interest to discuss research and careers in waterfowl ecology, management and conservation. We strongly encourage both established and new professionals (including post-doctoral candidates) to contribute as mentors. Mentees will be paired with at least two mentors who will help facilitate additional networking with professionals and students throughout the conference.

Wetland and waterfowl conservation in North America continue to thrive thanks to a close-knit and supportive community. Take part in this fun social event and strengthen these bonds that bridge our past, present and future.
